A good example of CST's Bundled Solutions is when last month, a 50-user CST client was looking to replace a dozen older desktop PC's and IBM had a great deal on a pre-made ThinkCentre Mini-tower unit. Thre was one issue however…. The units came pre-bundled with 256MB of memory and the client wanted 512MB..and CDR/W's that were not standard…. and 56K modems. In addition to providing these services, the CST Network Engineer suggested creating an 'image' of their hard drives, so instead of spending a few hours per computer loading and configuring software(where time is money), the image could be burned on the hard drive in minutes and cloned machines are also much easier to troubleshoot. In the end, this bundling solution saved our client thousands of dollars in man hours and by having cloned units, troubleshooting and upgrades were uniform and easy.
